I used to be a big controlfreak and perfectionist.

I used to be a big controlfreak and perfectionist. In my work I could keep working for hours, to keep editing the smallest details, that probably nobody would ever notice, but me. After becoming a mother, I realised pretty quickly that a lot of things wouldn´t be perfect for a while anymore. Just because there weren´t enough hours in a day to do everything perfect.So I had to learn to be satisfied with things just being done, more or less. This was frustrating at the beginning, but at some point I also saw my work changing, as I started to create more space for coincidences and spending less time on a piece, to keep things fun and more playful.Anybody else a recovering perfectionist? 🙋🏼‍♂️

INSPIRATIONSpending time by myself has always been one of my favourite things to do. To wander around and get lost in streets and new places. To observe people, flowers or the fog that covers the city as a blanket. I get inspired by color combo´s I see in nature, the way people move, or interact with each other. 10 things you didn´t know about me.I have a Chinese sign tattooed on my ancle, but when I was traveling in HongKong, somebody told me it doesn´t mean anything.I have 4 siblings and my only brother lives in Berlin tooFor a long time I hated kids and thought I would never become a mother I can be really impatient, especially when it comes to devices not working properly.A long time ago, I wanted to become a fashion designer and even started fashion design for a little bit.
